Family (71) seeking house in Tamworth, New South Wales

I am a nurse currently living and working in Coonabarabran. I am moving to Tamworth for a new job at Tamworth Community Age Care starting on 05/01/26. I started working at Coonabarabran Hospital in April 2020 and lived at a three-bedroom rented house ever since. I am living with my adult son. We are looking for 3-bedroom house with two bathrooms and covered patio or alfresco, preferably long-term tenancy. We are living at current address for more than five years. I am finalizing my work here on 07/12/25 and planning our move between 12/12/25 and 20/12/25. We are quiet, friendly and reliable people and great neighbours. We are not party people and are not making lots of noise but don't mind noisy neighbours. We don't have our own pets but would not complain if our neighbour’s pets visit our backyard. I love sitting outside on our verandah and often have our neighbour's two cats keeping me company. Our current house is privately rented with current rent of $660/fortnight, paid by direct transfer into our landlord bank account. He emails me invoices upon receiving payment. Before moving to Coonabarabran, I worked at Dunedoo MPS from August 2018 to April 2020. My older son came for visit after splitting with his partner and decided to stay with me. We also lived in privately rented house. Our an elderly couple, sadly passed away few years ago. Before moving to NSW I lived in my own house in Upper Coomera on the Gold Coast and worked as casual nurse with QLD Health covering few public hospitals in Gold Coast and Brisbane regions. In December 2016 I accepted position as contract/agency nurse with Western NSW Local Health District and worked at 4 different hospitals, including Dubbo Base, and stayed in provided accommodations at nursing quarters. On my free days I used to travel and explore rural NSW falling in love with it and decided to accept a permanent position with NSW Health at Dunedoo MPS. My other two children still live on the Gold Coast, my daughter and my grandson live in our house, while my younger son lives with his girlfriend.
