Family (38) seeking house in Geelong, Victoria

Hello, My name is Brea, and I am a single mum to four beautiful children aged 17, 15, 13, and 3. We lived in our previous rental for six years, where it truly felt like home. Unfortunately, the property was put on the market as it was an investment, and we were required to move on. Since then, our family has been displaced. My children are currently staying with their dad at his parents’ home, which is very overcrowded and has been incredibly challenging especially for my 17-year-old, who has been studying for her exams. She dreams of becoming a nurse, and right now she desperately needs stability and a quiet place to focus on her future. I am temporarily staying with my sister, around 50 minutes away from my children. This separation is taking a significant emotional toll on all of us and is not a situation we can sustain long-term. My biggest hope is to secure a rental so my children and I can be reunited under one roof, ideally before the school year begins. I am employed part-time but work full-time hours as the 2IC in the Coles deli, providing consistent income and stability. The ongoing uncertainty has placed immense strain on both my physical and mental health, as well as my children’s wellbeing. We are simply longing for a safe, stable place to call home again.
